Pane Quotidiano is an association founded in Milan in 1898 with the aim of providing free food aid to the poorest sections of the population and to anyone in a state of need and vulnerability. At the two facilities of the association in Milan, through the distribution of food rations, Pane Quotidiano welcomes and ensures basic food rations to over 4,000 people every day.
Among its effects, the pandemic has generated an increase in poverty and the number of people in need of help has increased considerably. This implied an increasingly considerable commitment for the associations that work to ensure help in the most fragile contexts.
Pane Quotidiano, in addition to receiving donations of products directly from companies, also deals with the recovery of fresh food not sold and / or consumed. To support this activity, through the Bolton Hope Foundation in 2021 we contributed to cover the purchase of a new vehicle for the recovery and transport of food.
